LSS Welcomes Donations

Through Lutheran Social Services housing program, "It's All About Kids," families are beoing helped make a news start during challenging times. Currently, school supplies and household items are being collected to help program families get ready for fall. Donations are appreciated and the following items are most needed:

rags, mops and brooms, sponges, rubber gloves, buckets
paper goods including toilet paper, paper towels
cleansers for windows, dishes, multi-purposes surfaces

Moving teams are also needed to help with light moving for families in housing services programs. Volunteers can help with pick-up once a month or be paired with a truck team to help with loading. Additional volunteer information is available at the LSS website: www.lssmn.org.

Lutheran School Scholarship
The Joint Committee is sponsoring college scholarships that promote diversity of students by encouraging Lutheran gay and lesbian students in their pursuit of higher education. You can participate in two ways: by encouraging potential applicants and by helping with funding. Contributions are tax deductible.
