Dear ECLC Community,
As we move into a new season of ministry, we give thanks for the ways God’s love is alive among us shaping who we are and what we can do together. This year, three themes guide our shared life: Youth, Connection, and Resistance.
Youth: With our new Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries, Kaya Hougan, we are investing deeply in our youngest members. Kaya’s wisdom and joy help nurture faith for children and families, especially as they face difficult realities. We dream of raising a generation so rooted in love that they have the courage to heal a broken world.
Connection: In a world often marked by cruelty and division, we are building the relationships that sustain us. Our growing House Church groups and shared worship remind us that we are not alone. We believe that when we are woven tightly together, we can face anything and even create something beautiful.
Resistance: Our theme, What We CAN Do, proclaims that even small acts matter. Rooted in grace, we join God’s work of healing and justice. We refuse to let fear or despair have the last word, living boldly as a community of hope.
Your annual giving makes this possible. Thank you for committing to this vital work of love, hope, and transformation.
In gratitude,
Pastor Jeff Sartain & Pastor Natalia Terfa
